Middle School Cross Country • Fall 2026

The Southeastern NC XC Series is a Three-race middle school cross country series designed to provide consistent, competitive racing opportunities for developing athletes throughout the fall season.

This series is open to any team or club that would like to compete.  This series is unaffiliated with any school, county or league.  It is simple open to teams or individuals that want to have a chance to compete in the sport of cross country.

September 17 – Kickoff to Fall 3K
October 1 – Hay Bale Scramble 3K
October 13 – Championship Meet
 
📏 Race Distance
All races: 2 mile
 
🕓 Race Day Schedule
(Individual Unattached Athletes are Welcome)
4:15 PM – JV Boys & Girls (combined; may be split based on size) 
4:45 PM – Varsity Girls (maximum 15 athletes per team)
5:20 PM – Varsity Boys (maximum 15 athletes per team)

This series is built to give middle school athletes:
Any team public or private school is invited
Consistent racing opportunities
A chance to track progress throughout the season
A competitive yet supportive environment

Join fellow runners on September 17, 2026 for the Southeastern NC Middle School XC Series. It's a fantastic 3K featuring a flat and fast course in Wilmington.
