About this race
Join us this summer under the lights at Lloyd Schneider Stadium for the Spartan Summer Showcase — a one-mile race experience built around McFarland’s rich distance-running tradition. From middle school athletes to elite milers, the Showcase brings together runners of all levels for a night of fast racing, community energy, and championship atmosphere.
The Spartan Summer Showcase features dedicated divisions for Middle School, High School, Wheelchair, Community, and Elite athletes, with separate Women’s and Men’s Elite Miles to close out the night. Whether you’re chasing a personal best, sharpening up for cross country season, or racing your first mile in years, there’s a place for you on the line.
