About this race

Spooktacular is back for its 12th year!

This (almost) 4-mile course starts at the corner of First Ave and East Main Street. The first mile winds through the historic Manasquan Inlet with river views, then opens onto the boardwalk and the ocean. From there it turns inland toward Stockton Lake before heading back through the Norman Rockwell streets at the center of town. You'll finish at historic Leggett's, a Manasquan staple since 1935.

If 4 miles is too much, there's a 2-mile walk with the same start and finish.

100% of proceeds support adults on the autism spectrum, 21 and older, in accredited programs that build the skills and job placements they need to live independent, purposeful lives.

The Spooktacular is really a party with a run to warm everyone up. The flat course starts at First Ave and East Main, heads down the beachwalk for a mile of ocean views, then turns inland past Stockton Lake and back through the streets of Manasquan to finish behind one of New Jersey's beach-bar classics. Who needs a timing chip? The faster you run, the sooner you're at the after-party inside Leggett's, with a free buffet lunch.
