Our 2025 race will benefit the Berea Chamber of Commerce which sponsors the annual Spoonbread Festival.
PACKET PICKUP We'll hold our race packet pickup on race morning (Sunday, 9/21/25) from 7:30-8:45am in the parking lot of the Russel Acton Folk Center in Berea. There will be no advanced day PPU.
5K ROUTE MAP
Join fellow runners on September 10, 2022 for the Spoonbread Festival 5K. It's a fantastic 5K, 1.6K featuring a flat and fast course in Berea.
Pick your distance
Running
5K Run/Walk
Chip timed 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk on paved trail surfaces. Runners, walkers, strollers and dogs on fixed length leashes welcomed. Participants receive a commemorative race T-shirt while supplies last. Awards presented for Top 3 M/F overall and 5 year age divisions.
5K VIRTUAL Runner/Walker
If you can't join us in person consider signing up as a virtual runner/walker. For your $30 donation you can run/walk your own Spoonbread Festival 5K on your own schedule in your own hometown. Participate from anywhere in the United States. We'll mail you your shirt if you live outside of the Berea area. There are no awards for the virtual event.
Walking
1 Mile Fun Walk
An untimed 1 mile fun walk with no awards presented. Participants receive a commemorative race T-shirt while supplies last.
