About this race

This is a 5k run and "fun run", walk for all abilities _ Walkers Welcome!! The route will loop the Lake at Lathrop State Park which was just voted Colorado's Favorite State Park!!   This event is in celebration of 125 years of St Mary's Catholic Church in Walsenburg, Colorado with all proceeds going to repairs and maintenance. This is a flat trail with a maintained wide sidewalk and a well-used dirt shoulder where you can enjoy the scenery surrounding the Lake in the shadow of the beautiful Spanish Peaks!

Because this event is being held in a State Park, you must have a park pass. Carpooling is encouraged!! Online registration will close at 6:00PM Friday June 12th. Walk up registrations will be accepted on the day of the event starting at 7:30 AM.
