Come join the 8th annual Sugarman Triathlon and see why everyone is talking about this great event! Race starts at 8am, October 1, 2017 Swim, Bike and Run at Sugar Mill Pond! Over 300 people participated in last year's great race. Swim - 500 meters Bike - 15 miles Run - 3.1 miles A 500-meter swim in Sugar Mill Pond, 15-mile bike out-and-back on Chemin Metairie and LA89, and a 3.1-mile run through the Sugar Mill Pond Development. This is a great race for spectators, with a centralized transition area offering a great view of the final 1/2-mile of the run around the lake to the dockside finish. Packet Pickup TBA Awards will be given to: Overall Male and Female 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Top Master Male and Female (over 40 years old). Top Grand Master Male and Female (over 50 years old). 1st, 2nd and 3rd for Male and Female Age Groups: 19 & under 20 - 24 25 - 29 30 - 34 35 - 39 40 - 44

2 or 3 member relay teams. This race is being sanctioned with USAT. You must be a licensed USA Triathlon member at the time of registration or buy a one-day license to participate for $15.00 for adults and minors have to buy a yearly membership for $10. USAT rules shall be enforced. You are responsible for knowing the USAT race rules.
