About this race
Suicide Awareness: Walking Together For A Better Tomorrow is a 2K walk through Harvard, IL. Suicide can be preventable, however more people need to feel confident in understanding suicide, having conversations around suicide, and know when and where to offer help and support. Our walk is to bring awareness to suicide, remember those of have been lost to suicide, and bring hope to those who are suffering from suicidal thoughts. This walk is a way to facilitate conversations about suicide for people who want to help. Walking together allows people to share their personal stories, struggles, and triumphs, as well as to share in grief for those who have been lost.
