About this race
Join us on the track to test your speed and abilities!
Whether you're chasing a new personal best or lacing up for your very first mile, Summer Speed Fest is the perfect way to test some of that summer speed training or your current fitness level. We're bringing the excitement of the track back to the community — no experience required.
This isn't your typical race. It's a laid-back, summer event where runners of all levels come together to move, cheer, and connect. New to running? We’ve got a spot for you. Been chasing PRs since high school? Let’s see what you’ve got.
We’re here to grow the love of track in our town — and we want you to be part of it. Grab your friends, your old racing flats, or just your curiosity, and meet us on the oval. We will have some giveaways, prizes $$, and light refreshments available!

EVENT SCHEDULE AND INFORMATION: Check in starts at 9:00 AM, with a 10:00 AM Rolling Start ; if order of events changed, participants will be notified prior to race day. This is a rolling schedule- there will be announcements of the next event on the track per the schedule below as the meet goes on.

-Kids 100m Dash Fun 'Run' ( Age 10 and below ) ***
-400m Dash
-1 Mile
-4x400m Relay : Bring your baton item of choice :) 4 people required for each relay, only ONE person needs to sign up! Mixed or single gender team option- please specify when signing up! This is for fun :)
-- REGISTER FOR ALL EVENTS FOR JUST ONE FEE! In the box below the event you signed up for, please write down your predicted time for that event as well as the other events you are interested in and predicted times for those.

PRIZES:
> 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Overall/Open Division and Masters divisions in the 400m dash and 1 mile race. < >1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Overall Prizes for the Invitational 5,000m Race. <*** PRIZES WILL BE ANNOUNCED STARTING AFTER THE KIDS 100M DASH FOR THE PREVIOUS EVENT ON THE TRACK THROUGHOUT THE MEET. ***
OTHER RACE INFORMATION:
**The Invitational 5,000m Race is for those looking to race for their fastest time! You will be required to provide proof of a 5k time under 19:00 or a comparable distance verifying time. There will be 1 heat and capped at 18 runners. PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP IF YOU MEET THIS CRITERIA. Otherwise you will be denied entry once registered and can use entry to run an alternative event. Let's Race!! ***The Kids 100m Dash is for parents and young kids aged 10 and below looking for a fun 'run' down the straight away! If you have an older kid that would like to participate and be competitive, feel free to sign them up for the 400m or 1 mile events! If there are enough kids that signed up for those events, we will make a kids heat!****If you are a part of a large group, running club, private coaching client of Carly, or RRC ambassador, please reach out for a discount code or group rate to sign up for the event!
