Summer Track Series by Peachtree City Running Club

PEACHTREE CITY RUNNING CLUB Presents:

2026 SUMMER TRACK SERIES - Fun natured competition for runners of all ages and abilities

Minors must be accompanied by a legal parent/guardian. 

WHERE: Peachtree City Track at Riley Field, adjacent to Peachtree City Elementary School on Wisdom Road.

WHEN: Wednesday evenings - May 27, June 3, 10, 17. Championship meets - June 23rd (Tues.) & 24th (Wed.)

REGISTRATION: ONLINE THRU MAY 26th, then In-person - Registration is good for one or all of the event nights. 

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION/ CHECK-IN: Starting at 6:00 PM. Online Registrants must check in on their first night of participation. All others in-person registration.

The first event starts at 6:30 PM.

ENTRY FEE: Runners FREE. Spectators FREE. Participating runners must register. 

EVENTS: 50-yard dash (10 and under), 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash, 800-meter run, 1 Mile run, 3200-meter run, 400- & 1600-meter relays. NO FIELD EVENTS.

GROUPINGS - REGULAR WEEKLY MEETS: Events will be run in heats of age ranges based on # of runners.

CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES: Events will be run in heats based on age groups and by male/female.

AWARDS: Presented for Championship Series Meets Only.

6:30 PM              800 Meter Run (after welcome/announcements)

6:45 PM              50 Yard Dash (10 and under)

7:00PM              100 Meter Dash on May 27th, June 10th; 200 Meter Dash on June 3rd, 17th

7:15 PM              400 Meter Dash (run in lanes)

7:30 PM              Parent/Child Relay (Child runs 400, then parent runs 400)

7:45 PM              1 Mile Run

8:00 PM              4x100 Relay on May 27th, June 10th; 4x400 Relay on June 3rd, 17th

8:30 PM              3200 Meter Run on May 27th, June 10th

NOTE: Events or scheduled meets will be postponed or cancelled for lightning or unsafe weather conditions. Follow Peachtree City Running Club on Facebook or Instagram for day-off event updates. Bring hydration and prepare for temps. 

The above schedule is approximate, and we ask for your patience with event times, which depend on the number of runners in each heat. All meet events run in varied age-range heats. All heats will stress safety and quick times by being as limited in number as possible. Track surface is rubberized. All timing is by electronic clock, with top finishers confirmed visually by volunteers. This event is intended to be a fun-natured competition for the community.
