Now’s your chance.
Join us for one of the most scenic and unique races in the Southern
Tier—Race the Runway—as you take on a fast, flat course while the
sun sets behind the hills.
🌅 Two laps. Endless sunset views. One unforgettable experience.

Join fellow runners on September 12, 2024 for the Sunset Runway 5k. It's a fantastic 5K, 2.9K, 1.3K featuring a flat and fast course in Johnson City.

Sunset Runway 5k
Race Day Packet Pick up starts at 5:00. Race starts at 6:30pm. Runners will receive a Race Shirt, commemorative medal, and post race party (if registered by final shirt date).
Kids Run
Got a kid obsessed with airplanes? Maybe just the fun of getting to go where no one gets to appeals? Let's do this! Kids run is less than a mile but runways are big and to get to it and have some time on it and back to the finish takes some distance. Kids will get a Race Shirt, commemorative medal, and post race party.
Walking
Runway Walk
Race Day Packet Pick up starts at 5:00. Race starts at 6:30pm. Walkers will receive a commemorative medal and post race party. Shirts can be purchased separately (if registered by final shirt date).
