Surf City Fitness Race to the Coast 5K

Mark your calendars now for the Surf City Fitness Race to the Coast 5K on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 8:30am. Hosted by Surf City Fitness and Benefitting Surf City Ocean Rescue.

• Post-Race Party featuring Food Trucks, Music and Vendor Fair
• Flowers for mom presented by Surf City Florist
• Awards for Age Group and Overall Winners

Saturday, May 9 8:30 AM Race Start

To help alleviate congestion on the bridge, this year’s race will start in waves. During registration, you’ll be asked to select your wave group. Race bibs will be color-coded based on your wave start time.

Wave 1: In it to Win it Pace!  (8:30 AM)
Under 30 minutes

Wave 2: Feel Good Pace (8:32 AM)
30–45 minutes

Wave 3: Scenic Pace (8:34 AM)
45–60 minutes

Wave 4: Walk & Talk Crew (8:36AM)
60+ minutes
