Color Me Green 5k Run/Walk
The 3rd Annual Color Me GREEN 5K is sponsored by the South Yuba Recreation Volunteer Association, in support of our local 4-H program! The event will be held on Sunday, June 12 at the UCANR Sierra Foothills REC. Check-in/warmup will take place from 8:00-8:45am and the race will start at 9:00am. Registration is closed, but DAY OF SIGN UPS ARE WELCOME! Prices for this race are $15 for minors and $30 for adults, and there are discounts for groups over four racers. Click "Show Registration Details" below to see full information about this. 4-H members/volunteers: you have coupon codes to offer a discount. If you do not have this, please ask your club leader or Rene. If your family would like to participate, but the cost is a barrier, please reach out to the office about 4-H fee waivers. This timed race challenges runners to avoid (or invite) being bombarded with green (food-based) dye as they run through the Sierra Foothills Research Extension Center's trail system. The Color Me Green event is designed to encourage youth and community members to increase their physical activity while also having fun!
