Celebrate the 13th annual Sweet Home Milwaukee at the Lakefront!
Please join us on Sunday, May 3rd for an inclusive 5k race designed for all ages and abilities. Whether you're a local, a transplant, or a Brew City enthusiast, we welcome you at Veterans Park for a gorgeous 5k along the Lakefront.
Cheering on all things Milwaukee- this event is produced and sponsored by many MKE businesses.

Registration Options
General 5k Registration | All general 5k options are open to all ages and abilities! Registration includes a long-sleeved shirt, finisher's medal, race bib, chip-timed race, Bloody Mary at Brunch, a dish of Fred's Frozen Custard on race day, and a donation to Hunger Task Force.
Kid's 5k Registration | This option is for kids under 10 years old in the 5k. All registered kid entries include a finisher's medal, race bib, and a dish of Fred's frozen custard. NOTE: Kid entries are untimed and do not include a shirt. Shirts are available as an additional add-on. There is only 1 (one) 5k race. There is not a separate kid's race.
Age 5 and under: Registration is not required. If you would like to receive the medal, bib, and frozen custard - please register the kiddos :-)
Virtual Registration | All virtual 5k options are open to all ages and abilities! Registration includes a long-sleeved shirt, finisher's medal, race bib, dish of Frozen Custard at Fred's, and a donation to Hunger Task Force.
All virtual registrations will be mailed beginning May 4. You do not need to wait for your packet to arrive to complete your race. If you would like your packet earlier, you may pick-up at Packet Pick-Up on May 2.
Race Start: 9am
Can't make it? You may switch to the virtual race for whatever reason and we'll mail your packet. Make the change to your registration on runsignup.com no later than race day.
Join fellow runners on April 27, 2019 for the Sweet Home Milwaukee 5K. It's a fantastic 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Milwaukee.

Join us for the 6th Annual Sweet Home Milwaukee 5k! We love this great city! So why not come out of winter hibernation and show your love while running or walking Milwaukee's very own, Veteran's Park! In partnership with Hunger Task Force, we will be holding a food drive on race day. So bring out your non-perishables* and let's run and feed the community! When: Saturday, April 27, 2019 Race start: 9:00am Where: Veteran's Park, Milwaukee's Lakefront Race entry includes: -Scenic course highlighting your sweet home Milwaukee's beautiful lakefront! -Long Sleeved Event Shirt -Finisher's Medal (doubling as magnetic bottle opener!) -Free Bloody Mary at Stubby's Gastrogrub! -Timed Race Results & Free Race Photos -Race Day food drive benefiting the Hunger Task Force -Free Post Race beer to participants 21+ (aren't quite there yet? You'll get a free soda, gatorade or water!) Registration: 11/14/2018-11/30/2018: $30 12/01/2018-1/31/2019: $35 2/01/2019-3/31/2019: $40 4/1/2019-4/27/2019 at 3pm (or until sold out): $45 Online registration will close on April 27 at 8:15am Children 8 and above need to have their own registration. Children under 8 on the course without a race bib will NOT receive a finisher's medal. Strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course due to the size of the park paths. Packet Pick-up When: Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26 Time: 12:00pm-7:00pm | 12:00pm-7:00pm Where: Performance Running Outfitters 4533 North Oakland Ave Milwaukee, WI 53211 There is no race day packet pick-up unless you reserve it during your registration process. Can't make it on race day, but still want to run your Sweet Home Milwaukee 5k? RUN VIRTUALLY! We will mail your race items on April 28 and you can complete your 3.1 miles at your own leisure.
