About this race
Join us at Tap Root Fields to kick off summer with our Strawberry Family Fun Run/Walk on our new trail system. This self-timed event is open to all ages and abilities — walk, jog, or run at your own pace while enjoying the beauty of the farm.
The course winds around our open fields and through our newly established trails, offering a chance to explore the property while spending time outdoors with family and friends.
This event isn’t about speed — it’s about getting outside, moving your body, and celebrating strawberry season together as a community at Tap Root Fields.
Three mapped Trails to Run/Walk:
- 3 Mile Loop (approx) - An all-terrain mix - wood-chipped trails, open fields, hills (this is not stroller, walker, or wheelchair friendly)
- 1 Mile Loop (approx) - An all-terrain mix - wood-chipped trails, open fields, inclines (rugged stroller may work)
- .5 Mile Loop (approx) - Wood-chipped trail, open field, mainly flat (rugged stroller may work)
- Leisurely, explore your own route.

Tap Root Fields Strawberry Family Fun Run/Walk
Pack a picnic and make a day of it! While you aren't on the trails, relax at the picnic tables or bring a blanket to sit on. Take the littles to the bounce house, bring your frisbee or football. Enjoy the Strawberry Season with strawberry-infused refreshments, fresh berries, and more.
