About the Event
Bring your four-legged friend out for some exercise and support a great cause! Tara Sturgis Memorial Pints & Paws 5K and 1 mile fun run/walk takes place at Carl's Family YMCA in Milford, Michigan on Sunday morning, September 20, 2026.
All race participants will receive a race shirt, finisher medal and custom co-branded pint glass. All four-legged friends will receive a custom race bandana.
All participants will receive a ticket redeemable at River's Edge Brewery.
The Pints and Paws run/walk is a family friendly & pet friendly event that honors Tara (Tabbert) Sturgis’s memory with 100% of the proceeds to provide grants to animal welfare groups. The Tara Sturgis Memorial Fund supports programs and organizations that provide general welfare services, emergency and medical services, or foster and adoption services for animals.

- If you register after September 1, 2026 or on race day, shirts are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
- 5K Awards to overall male and female and top place in all age groups.
- Double & 5K Awards to overall male and female.
