Previously known as the J&J, this trail racing event of the year is now on Labor Day weekend; and is our pinnacle of off road racing and fun. Held at the adventure capital of Texas, Camp Eagle, only a couple hours from San Antonio, a few hours from Austin, and well worth a longer drive or flight from anywhere, this event is where a huge chunk of Tejas Trails history took place and is very special to all of us who have raced here. Now we are taking it to a whole new level. This 3 day festival will include trail running races, rucking races, mountain bike races, biathlon races, and a handful of extra fun contests in the water and the sky, which will result in this being one of the biggest trail sports bashes of the year.
Runners and Riders will be enjoying the amazing technical trails and beautiful vistas. Friends and family will be able to enjoy waiting for their racer while relaxing in the amenities, coffee shop, private lodging, dining hall; playing in the spring-fed river; and enjoying the adventure activities around the 1400 acres of fun.
While every racer will get some cool swag or race shirt. If you register after the shirt deadline, you will get some cool Race Swag! This could be a variety of items like a trucker cap, neck gaiter, etc. It will be a cool Swag Item!

Ready to test your limits? The Tejas Dirt Festival brings a highly anticipated Ultra, 48.3K, 32.2K, 16.1K, 6.4K, 1.6K to Rock Springs on March 10, 2023. Expect a fantastic route right in the heart of Texas.

If you haven’t experienced a ruck challenge or competition, they are wonderfully simplistic and can take place in a variety of looks and feels. We are not going to have challenges along the way. Just straight hiking with a ruck (pack). So, all you need to join in on the Ruck division is a pack with some weight in it, and the ability to cover 20 miles of rugged Texas Hill Country trails. 20 mi Relay: 3 legs (6 miles, 4 miles & 10 miles). Can have a max of 3 per relay team.

J&J Youth 1-Mile Trail Run (12 & under)
The Youth Trail Run is for Kids 12 & under and will be sure to please our youngest trail runners quest for rugged adventure! The distance is approximately 1 mile and parents may run with their kids at no cost. Each young runner gets a medal and a prize from our Treasure Chest! **T-shirts are not included but are available for purchase for $15 during registration.
