About this race

Get your exercise in early!

Come join us for the 12th Annual Thanksgiving Day Trot n' Gobble! This year's run falls on November 27th, 2025! We offer a 5K & 10K race, with a walk option for the 5K. The race is located on the Nickel Plate Trail! The proceeds benefit our hard working kids at the Peru Circus City Festival.

All pre-registered runners will receive a long sleeved shirt, with the first 200 receiving a participation medal. To qualify for pre-registration, we will need to receive your registration form by November 22nd. Race day registration will be available, but shirts are not guaranteed. Registration is at Anytime Fitness (907 W Main Street Peru, IN) beginning at 6:45 AM Thanksgiving Day, with races to follow at 8 AM!

Early packet pickup at the Peru Circus Building from 6PM to 8PM on November 26th, 2025. We will be using RFID technology from J3 timing to ensure accurate race results. Your chip will be on your bib and is completely disposable!
