Start your holiday season with this year's Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5k!
Community Healthcore Foundation presents its 13th annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot on November 26th, 2026.
Community Healthcore is a non-profit agency that is the local Mental Health and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Authority for 9 counties in Northeast Texas, including Bowie, Cass, and Red River Counties. Community Healthcore provides mental health services to children and adults, programming for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, substance use disorders and assisting homeless Veterans.
All proceeds from this FUNdraiser will go to the Community Healthcore Foundation to be used in various forms of client services, unmet needs, and other assistance without a funding source.

The race will not be refunded due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5k
Packet pick-up will be on Wednesday, November 27th at Racquet & Job, 3435 Richmond Road, Texarkana from 11 AM - 6 PM Packet pick-up opens at 7:00 AM and closes at 8:15 AM at the race site.
Kids Fun Dash
This is for the kiddos! They will begin after the 5k starts and stay on the path around the pond. AGES 12 AND UNDER *MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES*
Sleep-In
This event is for those who want to contribute to the fundraiser without being there in person.
