- This is for everyone who wants to enjoy the experience but is not interested in competing against anyone else.
CATEGORY 2: ELITE
- 20 lb. weight vest or equivalent MANDATORY (not provided)
- No pull-up bands permitted
- The ELITE category competes for the awards listed below.
- Top 3 – FDNY
- Top 3 – MARINES
- Top 3 – ARMY
- #1 – OVERALL WINNER – BEST OF THE BEST
CATEGORY 3: VOLUNTEER STAFF
- Volunteer Staff will assist with one or more of the following on the day of the race.
- Water Station - Organize cups, water, and distribute.
- Course Guide - Direct participants
- Event Marshal - Confirm completion of exercises
- Pre-Post Event Set-Up - Assist with course signage, banners, tables, supplies.
- Shirt and Award distribution - assist with the distribution of shirts and awards
REGISTRATION INCLUDES COMMEMORATIVE TECHNICAL T-SHIRT
- Deadline for choosing shirt size is APRIL 16th.

The LT. Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation (501c3) was founded in 2007 by Michael’s parents, Dan and Maureen Murphy, along with Michael’s brother, John. Michael was an avid reader who felt that education was key. In fact, his favorite saying was “Education will set you free”. The Foundation’s Board began with Family, but now seats nine members consisting of Dan, Maureen, and John Murphy, as well as other close family and friends committed to keeping Michael’s life, service, sacrifice and legacy alive. The Foundation is funded through kind donations and proceeds from The Murph Challenge.Pick your distance

For participants who are NOT members of the FDNY or Armed Forces. WEIGHT VEST OR BODY ARMOR is optional. Bring your own.
