When it comes to college basketball, THE ROAD STARTS HERE! Dayton, Ohio has been host to the annual NCAA First Four for years. Now, with the expanded NCAA tournament field, Dayton will host 6 games... thus, 6k instead of 4-miler for 2027!
As in prior years, the Big Hoopla in Dayton is about more than just basketball; it's severall days of activities, and we tip off all the fun with the Big Hoopla 6k on Selection Sunday, March 14, 2027. For 2027, the Big Hoopla race along with the STEM Challenge returns to Wright State University.
All participants receive a super soft tech tee, custom finisher medal and lots of post-race food. So, grab a friend or family member and come celebrate the excitement of March Madness with us at the Big Hoopla 6k!
