The Big Run 2026 – Louisville

Join us on Thursday, June 4th for The Big Run 2026! We’ll kick things off at 6:30 PM from Ten20 in Butchertown with a free, fun run/walk to Goodbounce and back—open to all paces and experience levels.

After the run, stick around for mini sessions starting at 7:30 PM inside Ten20, where you can connect, recover, and keep the energy going.

This event is proudly sponsored by Brooks Running, Ten20, and Goodbounce.

While this is a free event, we encourage participants to give back by donating what you would typically spend on a race registration to Blessings in a Backpack – Louisville.

Supporting Blessings in a Backpack:

Did you know that 13.8 million children in the United States are experiencing food insecurity? That’s 1 in 7 children who may not have consistent access to meals.

Hunger impacts more than just a child’s appetite—it can lead to:

Weakened immune systems
Increased hospitalizations
Lower academic performance
Shorter attention spans

While many children receive meals during the school week, weekends can be a different story. That’s where Blessings in a Backpack steps in—providing ready-to-eat meals to ensure kids have access to food when school is not in session.

Kids depend on the meals they eat at school during the week but struggle with
access to affordable, healthy food on Saturday and Sunday. The consequences are
much more than a growling stomach. Hunger can cause many physical health
problems. It can shorten a child's attention span, lower their IQ, and keep them
from making good grades.
Did you know that almost 80,000 children in Louisville are food insecure?

Who will feed the kids this weekend? You will!
Our work is simple. We provide food on the weekends for school-aged children
across America who might otherwise go hungry.

With Blessings in a Backpack, you can feed a child for an entire school year for
only $175. That’s less than $5 a week. Your support will keep hunger pangs at bay
until children return to school on Monday morning. Surveys show that kids fed by

in a Backpack Louisville Chapter provided over 214,400
