Virtual 5k Run/Walk
5k Virtual Run/Walk to benefit Friendship Ark Homes & Community Services. Friendship Ark celebrates the uniqueness of adults with intellectual disabilities by providing homes and community services. We help our core members reach their fullest potential through faith, family, and friendship. T-Shirt sizes guaranteed for all entries received by 6/14/2024. Sizes and quantities will be limited after this date. T-Shirts for virtual participants may be picked up at our office at 5820 Lincoln Way, Suite 101, Ames, IA 50014 (please note that we have moved) or you may choose to have your T-Shirt shipped to you for an additional fee (select shipping as an add-on product). T-Shirts that are shipped may not be received by the participant(s) until after the in-person race date. You may complete your run/walk any time between June 22th and July 4th, 2024. Instructions for submitting your time will be sent to you by email. Friendship Ark is a 501(c)(3) organization and a charitable contribution may be available for a portion of your registration fee and/or donation. Please consult your tax advisor for current IRS regulations. The Bill Bergan 5K on the 4th is supported by a Discover Ames Community Grant.

In-Person 5k Run/Walk at Ada Hayden Park in Ames, Iowa to benefit Friendship Ark Homes & Community Services. Shot-gun start at 8:00 a.m. T-Shirt distribution will take place starting at 7 a.m. on July 4th, 2024 at the shelter house at Ada Hayden Park in Ames.
