The Brooklyn Mile
About this race
The BKLYN MILE, presented by HOKA, is a point-to-point road mile that runs along Kent Avenue and through the heart of Williamsburg. All monies earned from the BKLYN MILE benefits Girls on the Run NYC.
The mile is an iconic distance; unique in its ability to stoke the fire of the most competitive runner. But also unique in its ability to generate wide appeal among those of all running experience levels, including beginners.
The point-to-point road course is USATF-certified, fast and awesome. The start is south of the Williamsburg Bridge in North Brooklyn. It proceeds north underneath the beautiful span and then along Kent Avenue toward the finish adjacent to Marsha P. Johnson State Park.
