Fairfield Police Sunset 5K Run or Walk- a timed event (Includes Dinner Ticket)
Are you ready for a FLAT and potentially FAST run? Or Just want to have a wonderful Summer run, walk, or stroll? Then you will love this neighborhood course and great finish right by the beach. The Penfield Beach area is one of the premier locations on the coast of Connecticut. The roads will be safe and secure thanks to Fairfield's Finest and the Fairfield Police Explorers. Awards will be given to the top male & female champions and the 1st, 2nd, 3rd in age groups 9 & under, 10-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+ (don't worry- if we have anyone over 80 PRE-registered we WILL have awards for them!) Pre register by July 10 to guarantee your shirt size (after that as available). And with a 1000 person limit please don't get shut out! Fairfield Police Sunset 5k VIRTUAL Run or Walk
The Virtual Run is designed for those folks who want to support our charities but WILL NOT BE ATTENDING OUR EVENT OR WHO MIGHT BE ATTENDING BUT WILL NOT BE PARTICIPATING. IF YOU CHOOSE THE VIRTUAL RUN YOU WILL NOT BE REGISTERED FOR THE 5K NOR THE WALK. Virtual participants will receive a shirt, swag, and possibly other items by mail (or you can pick them up prior to the event or at the event). You will not have a bib to participate. If you choose to join us at the event we will arrange for you to partake in the buffet.
Walking
Fairfield Police Sunset One Mile Walk- a NON TIMED event (Includes Dinner Ticket)
Our flat and Family Friendly one mile course is perfect for all ages and abilities. Push a stroller, carry a toddler, enjoy an easy walk, stroll or even sashay! Sorry- by law- no dogs allowed in any park area so please leave man's (and woman's) best friend at home. Thanks! This event IS NOT TIMED. Your name will not be shown in the results. If you are looking for a timed walk you will need to register for the full 5k (3.1 miles) and complete the entire course. Pre register by July 10 to guarantee your shirt size (after that as available). And with a 1000 person limit (all events combined) please don't get shut out!
