The Foley Gobbler
About this race
Thanksgiving morning in Foley, Alabama. A chip-timed 5K on the cross-country trail at Graham Creek Nature Preserve, a one-mile fun run (The Little Gobble), and a free kids' dash (The Wishbone Dash) - and done by ten. You'll be home before the turkey goes in. Walkers welcome. No time limit, a Tail Walker at the back, always. Proceeds benefit Gulf Coast nonprofits that support women, children and adoption.

The Foley Gobbler 5K
Chip timed. Self-seeded start - three signs, no qualifying. Marked cross-country trail inside Graham Creek Nature Preserve. Water on course and at the finish. Course open ninety minutes, no time limit enforced - a Tail Walker stays at the back. Walkers welcome. Awards: overall, masters, age groups 10 and under through 80+. Satsuma and finisher medal to everyone who crosses the line.
The Little Gobble - 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Untimed fun run and walk on a shorter loop inside Graham Creek Nature Preserve. Tail Walker at the back, always. This is the walker's event: if the 5K sounds like too much, this is the one. Shirt and satsuma included.
The Wishbone Dash - Free Kids' Dash (8 & under)
Free. Ages 8 and under. One hundred yards down the finish chute with the clock still running and everybody watching. Every child gets a ribbon. A parent may run alongside. Registration required so we have a ribbon for every kid.
