About this race

Come out, dress like a banana, get a free Dri-Fit shirt, and walk/run for a good cause!   The 5K is presented by the Liberty High School Interact Club- a high school affiliate of the Easley Rotary Club that works to promote service above self and international understanding.  The Move for a Cause 5K is a 5K race that will be held at the Pickens County Meals on Wheels Center in  Downtown Liberty, SC on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 at 9:00 AM. The address for the race is 349 Edgemont Ave, Liberty, SC 29657. This year is a Banana Run! We will have prizes for best "A-peeling" costume so be sure to bring your banana suit! All proceeds will go to Action Against Hunger - an international charity that works to end all hunger across the globe!
