But everyone can ride with us.

Veterans don’t fight alone.
And none of us ride alone either.

ABOUT THE MISSION

The Long Ride Home (Virtual) was created by fellow Project Echelon Vanguard member Greg Fields as a way for riders across the country to participate in and support The Long Ride Home mission from wherever they are.

In July 2026, retired U.S. Navy Senior Chief Brandon van Baggen will ride more than 2,200 kilometers down the Pacific Coast from Portland, Oregon to Coronado, California to raise awareness and support for veteran mental health through Project Echelon.

This 22-day virtual challenge allows participants to ride alongside that journey by logging miles, building community, and supporting the message that connection saves lives.

Whether riding indoors, outdoors, solo, or with a team, every mile represents support for veterans, mental health awareness, and the reminder that no one rides alone.

All proceeds from this event will be donated directly to The Long Ride Home fundraising campaign benefiting Project Echelon.
