Walk a Mile with the Masons

Four Laps • One Track • One Purpose Start your day with heart, purpose, and a whole lot of camaraderie as we kick off The Masonic Mile with our signature community event: Walk a Mile With the Masons. This one-mile, family-friendly walk is open to everyone—kids, adults, seniors, Masons, military personnel, and every member of the communities we proudly serve. This isn’t just a walk… it’s a FUN FUNdraiser designed to set the tone for the amazing events to follow. Whether you're here to stretch your legs, enjoy the fresh air, or be part of something bigger than yourself, these four laps around the track mark the ceremonial start of our Mile-long celebration. Expect a bit of pageantry, too! Masons will be in their regalia, a tradition rich in symbolism and brotherhood. Participating military members may be in uniform, representing duty, sacrifice, and unwavering service to our nation. As you make your way around the track, take a moment to do what this event encourages—connect: ✨ Shake a hand ✨ Thank a service member for their sacrifice ✨ Introduce yourself to a Mason ✨ Ask a question, share a smile, learn something new This is your chance to meet the men behind the aprons and find out who we are, what we do, and why Freemasonry has stood for centuries as a beacon of charity, integrity, leadership, and community. But we invite you to go one step further: As you sign up for this walk, consider how you personally can help support our mission beyond your registration fee. Can you share the event on social media? Invite a friend? Tell a neighbor? Every step taken and every dollar raised helps support Help for Our Heroes—a fund dedicated to easing the burdens faced by military families and ensuring their children have the resources to thrive. By walking this mile, you’re not just getting your steps in… You’re stepping into a tradition of service, gratitude, and hope. Lace up, look around, and be proud—because today, your footsteps carry meaning. And this mile is just the beginning.

Run a Mile with the Masons

One Mile • Two Heats • One Mission For those who don’t just walk the walk—but run it—this is your moment. Run a Mile With the Masons is designed for anyone who loves to feel their heart race, legs churn, and spirit surge as they push toward the finish line. Whether you lace up for speed, for fitness, or for a cause that moves you, this one-mile event turns the track into a runway of purpose and pride. Just like our opening walk, this race is open to Masons, military personnel, families, friends, and community members—anyone ready to put passion into motion and help strengthen the mission behind the Masonic Mile. Two Heats. One Purpose. 🏁 Heat One – The Competitive Mile Think you can crack the 6-minute mile barrier? Step up and prove it—on your honor. In true Masonic and military tradition, we’re operating on the Honor System—no time verifications, no questions asked. If your training, heart, and legs are ready, this is your heat. Awards will be presented to the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers—because excellence deserves recognition. 🔥 Heat Two – The Community Mile Once the dust settles and the competitive runners catch their breath, we open the track again to every runner with heart. No time limits. No pressure. Just the joy of running, the thrill of participation, and the knowledge that every stride supports a worthy cause. Whether you sprint, jog, or glide, your mile helps fuel the Help for Our Heroes initiative—providing vital support to military families who face challenges most never see. Your footsteps today help lighten their load tomorrow. Fast or steady, competitive or casual—this is your chance to run for more than a medal. Run for camaraderie. Run for gratitude. Mommy Daddy and Me Mile

Family Registration – One Family Lifting Another In the spirit of unity, support, and shared purpose, The Masonic Mile is proud to offer a Family Registration option—because when families stand together, communities grow stronger, and heroes feel the difference. For the cost of Mommy and Daddy's registration, all children in the family ages 10 and under are included at no additional charge. That means your entire family can participate in any of our mile-long events—the Walk, the Run, or the Relay—without worrying about separate entry fees for the little ones. Why? Because this event isn’t just about fitness—it’s about families supporting families: Military families navigating the challenges of service Local families eager to show gratitude Masonic families committed to charity, brotherhood, and community Your family’s participation directly supports the Help for Our Heroes fund, which provides real assistance to military households facing everything from new beginnings with newborns to the growing expenses that accompany childhood and education. By joining us, you’re doing more than crossing a finish line—you’re helping another family find their footing. Bring your kids. Bring your energy. Bring your heart. One family supporting another family—that’s how communities honor their heroes.
