The New Yorker 10K and 5K @ Riverside Park
About this race
The seldom seen Freedom Tunnel will echo with the sound of your feet as you run over it and through NYC's quintessential Riverside Park. Wedged between the historical Upper West Side neighborhood and the Hudson River this venue is known for its gorgeous views of Manhattan’s waterfronts, lush greenery and myriad walking and biking paths. Enjoy it all with a course that will leave you wanting to explore more of this 150 year old park designed by America's renowned landscape architect Fredrick La Olmsted.
Location: Riverside Park
The course consists of 1 loop for 5K & 2 loops for the 10K.
Water Stations: There will be water stations about every 1.5 miles along the course. Water, Gatorade, eletrolyte gels provided.
Technical T-shirt: male & female cut
commemorative bib (must register 4 weeks prior) general bib thereafter.

Race Day Packet Pick-up: 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
Bring picture I.D.
You will receive a bib with a timing chip attached to it.
Baggage Check-in: 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m
Your bib will have a tear off tag that you will pin to your personal bag.
You need to show the matching bib to retrieve your bag from secure area.
Race Start: 9 a.m.
Preliminary Results will be posted at around 10:00 a.m.
Awards Ceremony: 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

There are no transfers, no credits, no refunds. Race Directors reserve the right to change the date, modify or cancel the race. If this is the case your entry may be transferred to another event.

Race Day Bib Pick-up: arrive 15 minutes before your start time. Bring picture I.D. You will receive a bib with a timing chip attached to it. The bib must be worn on the front of your torso on top of your shirt or jacket. Not following these instructions results in misreadings. You will receive a split time per loop and final reading in real-time. Baggage Check-in: Limited and on request only! Your bib will have a tear-off tag that you will pin to your personal bag. You need to show the matching bib to retrieve your bag from a secure area.
