About this race
The Mission:
With your help, the Casey Saunders Foundation (The Foundation) creates opportunities for young people interested in cycling in the St. Louis region by providing grants and by helping them connect with the Greater St. Louis cycling community.
All proceeds from The Oreo Roubaix go to the Casey Saunders Foundation.
The Event:
The Oreo Roubaix Gravel Ride is a supported road and gravel ride featuring three distance rides that all begin and end at the Historic Route 66 Chain of Rocks Bridge park on the Missouri side of the Mississippi River. Three distances: 45 miles, 35 miles, and 16 miles. The routes will traverse the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge, the paths and roads of Chouteau Island, and the Madison County Trails.
The Long "Double Stuff" and Medium "Single Stuff" routes will be a mix of pavement and gravel. The Short "Mini Stuff" route will be paved and light gravel.
Each participant will receive a tasty Be Like Casey Water Bottle, while supplies last! Post ride food and drinks will be served @ Chain of Rocks Park!

Mini Stuff
The Short Route- “Mini Stuff”- This is a mixed surface out and back route that heads east over the Bridge and onto Chouteau Island and Back. 16.2 miles and 185 feet of climbing.
Single Stuff
The Medium Route – “Single Stuff”- This route begins on pavement and transitions about half way in to gravel on the Chouteau Island and MCT Trails. 460 feet of climbing over 35 miles.
The Double Stuff
The Long Route- “The Double Stuff”- This is a 45-mile route that begins on pavement and transitions to the mixed surface and gravel of Chouteau Island and both sides of the canal on the Madison County Trails. 565 feet of climbing and one rest stop at the West Levee Chain of Rocks parking lot.
