Think “November” and visions of roast turkey undoubtedly come to mind. Epic Races invites you to envision — and experience — a totally different take on that famous fall bird with The Original Kroger A2 Turkey Trot. Join us at Hudson Mills Metropark for this annual autumn tradition and enjoy a late-season run that is fun for the whole family!
LET’S TALK TURKEY!
The Original Kroger A2 Turkey Trot features three different distances to whet your racing appetite: a 5K loop around scenic Hudson Mills, a 10K course comprised of two 5K loops, and a mile fun run for those who want just a taste of our Turkey Trot.
For those who prefer a more sizable portion, there’s our Iron Turkey option: run both the 5K and 10K, a total of 9.3 miles! If your feet love gobbling up the miles, then our Iron Turkey challenge is ideal for you! Don’t forget: the A2 Turkey Trot is walker-friendly!
But wait.. there's more! All kids 10 and under race FREE!

DIRECTIONS AND PARKING
Hudson Mills Metropark is located at 8801 N. Territorial Road, Dexter, MI 48130. If you don't have an annual pass, the park fee is $10. To help the flow of traffic, please have your pass or a $10 bill ready! Learn more Metropark passes and parking fees HERE.
Enter the park from North Territorial Road and follow signs to The Activity Center. You will be directed to parking.
Post-Race Party
Stick around post race for food and festivities! Our Epic staff and volunteers will be cooking up pancakes, breakfast burritos, and more for race participants.

Classic Iron Turkey: Run a 5K and a 10K any time during our dates or back to back on Thanksgiving Day
Tin Foil Iron Turkey: Run 1 Mile and a 5K any time during our dates or back to back on Thanksgiving Day
Cornucopia Iron Turkey : Run one mile on November 18 and add on another mile each day until Thanksgiving Day where you will run 9.3 miles
Iron Turkey participants run the 5K, then run the 10K.
Bread and Butter Iron Turkey: Run one mile per day beginning November 18. On Thanksgiving Day, November 26, finish with a 1.3 run to total 9.3 miles
Please note that the Mile Fun Run is an untimed, non-competitive event. It is open to all ages!
