The Purple Hope 5k
About the Event
The Purple Hope 5K was created in loving memory of Lenore O’Hanlon, who bravely battled pancreatic cancer for 18 months. Though her fight came to an end, her strength and spirit live on through this annual event, which brings the community together to raise awareness and support the search for a cure.
Back for its THIRD year, the Purple Hope 5K is a walk/run for all ages and paces—whether you’re racing toward the finish line or strolling in support, your participation makes a difference.
Race Highlights:
• Prizes for first male, first female, and most purple attire
• A brand new raffle table filled with exciting prizes—all raffle ticket sales will be donated
• All proceeds benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN)
• A powerful and uplifting event that honors those we’ve lost and supports those still fighting
