THE ROCKETSHOT 5K IS A PEACHTREE CERTIFIED 5K COURSE AND A FUN, COMMUNITY EVENT TO HONOR JAMIE MCHENRY, OUR 13 YEAR OLD SON, WHO WAS HIT AND KILLED BY A CAR DURING A SPRING BREAK TRIP IN 2013. JAMIE WAS A PASSIONATE LACROSSE PLAYER WITH THE NICKNAME, "ROCKETSHOT" FOR THE VELOCITY OF HIS SHOT ON GOAL. ALL PROCEEDS ARE USED TO AWARD ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS, CHARACTER AWARDS AND SCHOOL IMPROVEMENTS!
