VIRTUAL Jaunt for Justice 5K
If you want to participate in the Jaunt for Justice 5K and support the Legal Aid Society, but are unable to be there in person, join the Virtual Jaunt for Justice 5K! Pick your own 5K route, and run or walk along with other participants. You can even compete for a medal if you wish, by submitting your time on the race website upon completion of your run. PLEASE NOTE: You can still indicate a T-shirt size when registering, but a T-shirt is NOT guaranteed if you register after 9/20/22. Race Packet Pickup will be September 30th, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. at Runabout Sports Roanoke.
Jaunt for Justice 5K
The Jaunt for Justice 5K is a 5K run/walk out and back on the Tinker Greenway, starting and ending at Fallon Park. Race Packet Pickup will be September 30th, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. at Runabout Sports Roanoke. Onsite packet pickup/registration starts at 7:30 a.m. The Kids' 1K Fun Run will start at 8:10 a.m. Start time for 5K race is 8:30 a.m. Thank you to Mountain Junkies LLC for providing timing for the Jaunt for Justice 5K Race! After the race, stay and enjoy food from The Lazy Bulldog Food Truck! We will be raffling some amazing prizes donated by our race sponsors after the medal ceremony. Each participant in the in-person 5K will receive one entry into the raffle - additional chances can be purchased on the day of the race at the registration tent. Prizes include passes to Mill Mountain Zoo, tickets to Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs hockey, a gift card to Three Notch'd Brewing Company, passes to Launching Pad Trampoline Park, and more! You must be present to win! PLEASE NOTE: You can still indicate a T-shirt size when registering, but a T-shirt is NOT guaranteed if you register after 9/20/22. For the safety of our participants, we will only cancel the race due to natural causes, terrorist attacks, or other things that will would put the safety of the runners or spectators at risk. If we have to cancel an event, we would defer your entry for the next year or allow you to run virtually.
Jaunt for Justice Kids' 1K Fun Run
The Jaunt for Justice 1K Kids' Fun Run will be a 1K out and back fun run on the Tinker Greenway at Fallon Park. The Kids' 1K Fun Run will start at 8:10 a.m., immediately followed by the 5K. All Kids' Fun Run participants will receive a finisher medal! Race Packet Pickup will be September 30th, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. at Runabout Sports Roanoke.
