About this race
It's time to GET STOKED AT STOKES! This Sassquad Trail Party is at the beautiful Stokes State Forest in Branchville, NJ. Join us on Sunday August 9, 2026 for the Thunder Chicken Squatch! Runners and hikers of all ages and paces can sign up for the 5K, 10K, 10K Ruck, or the 17 miler. We will be honoring the individuals who have sacrificed so much to serve our country by offering 50% off entries to all Active-Duty Military, National Guard, Reserves and Veterans! If you are in the Military or are a Veteran, please use the code THUNDERCHICKEN to save 50%! We will recognize all of our military runners/hikers before the race. Hardship Entry
If you are experiencing a financial hardship and would not be able to participate otherwise, please choose the "Hardship Entry" option. When we receive your registration, we will email you and ask which event you want to do and if you need a full or partial scholarship. We will not ask any other questions besides that! If you are a community member who wants to contribute to our Squatch Community Fund, you can make a donation on our website.
