Thunderbolt Youth Triathlon
When kids participate in a youth triathlon, amazing things happen. The presently uncoordinated or those with unactualized physicality can gain inner strength and realize that obstacles may be overcome if they only have the opportunity and venue to strive to attain them. Children take the opportunity to seize the day, excel, and set a mark for peers to aspire. Special kids with behavior disorders or those with boundless energy are afforded an outlet and may allow the focus that will bring greater clarity in their lives. Sometimes kids just need an opportunity to participate and be a part of something bigger than themselves and play in a large social setting. Life is only enhanced by regular activity, and youth is the best time to establish good, positive activity habits. The Thunderbolt Youth Triathlon will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016. It will be a fantastic opportunity for kids and their parents to be involved in the growing international sport of triathlon. Triathlon is a home grown sport which originated in the United States in the early 80’s. This triathlon is for ages 5-16 will take place at Veterans Memorial Park, starting at the Cove and finishing in the grass just past the playground.
