About this race

Join us on Saturday, November 7th, 2026 for a kids’ fun run in support of Tommy Lafontaine in his fight against acute lymphoblastic leukemia. In addition to the fun run, there will be lawn games, face painting, bake sale, raffle, and much more to honor Tommy as he celebrates his fifth birthday that weekend!

Tommy’s Trot is an entirely off-road event that will take place on the Nichols Field gravel track for children ages 3-10. For safety and support purposes, there will be waved starts beginning with the younger kids. Parents with young children participating in the event may walk or run alongside their child on the grass, and all children should cheer one another on from the grass while it is not their turn to run.

There are various ways to show your support if you do not have a child running in the race!
