Parking is available nearby: PARKING OPTION #1: Newburyport Commuter Parking Area 25 Boston Way Newburyport, MA 01950 Public parking fees apply. PARKING OPTION #2: Newburyport Commuter Parking Area 196 Newburyport Turnpike Newburyport, MA 01950 Public parking fees apply. (walk to end of train platform past Metzy's to reach Parker St) The races are scheduled from 8 - 11am. The beer garden and taproom will open at 11am. Bib # and race swag pick-up is at Riverwalk Brewing on race day only from 7:00am – 7:45am. No early birds, please. Award medals are given to the top three M/F in each age group. Overall, 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 70+. Be sure to visit the tent to pick up your award before you leave (There will not be an awards ceremony). Per USATF rules, gun times are used for scoring. There will be six aid stations with water approximately every two miles. Portable restrooms will be available at the start/finish and along the course as well. With warmer temperatures, runners are encouraged to carry additional water with their favorite hydration bottle, belt, vest or pack. ZYM Hydration is our on-course drink and hydration sponsor. ZYM created their Endurance Drink Mix for those that need energy and electrolytes to keep you performing at your optimal level. Many conventional sports drinks are filled with artificial flavors and colors and taste too sweet or too chalky.
