TPA's 5K on the Runway

This event is like no other in the Tampa Bay area
Participants get the rare opportunity to run on a real airport runway - a truly one-of-a-kind experience!
Amazing food from our own WayPointeTPA.
Spectators are welcome at no additional cost.
Registration includes a race shirt.
Free parking is available.
This race is limited to the first 2,000 participants. There is no onsite registration.
Registration opens January 15, 2026 at 12:00am
Race Fee: $60
Gates Open @ 6:00AM
Runners Move To Start Line @ 7:20AM
Race Starts Promptly @ 8:00AM

GATES OPEN @ 6:00AM RUNNERS WILL MOVE TO START LINE @ 7:20AM BIB PICKUP: - Tuesday, April 7th (9am-5pm) @ SkyCenter One - Wednesday, April 8th (9am - 7pm) @ SkyCenter One - Race Site April 11th (6am - 7am) - no pick-ups after 7:00am! (SkyCenter One Address: 5411 SkyCenter Drive, Tampa, FL 33607) FREE PARKING will be available in designated areas of Hillsborough Community College, located at 4001 W. Tampa Bay Blvd., Tampa FL 33614 TSA will be providing stadium style security check at entrance - only small bags are allowed in. RACE RESULTS: This is a chip timed event. Results will be posted on Runsignup.com and secondwindtiming.com CERTIFICATES WITH FREE REGISTRATION FOR NEXT YEAR'S RACE are available to the top three women/men in each of the following age divisions. 19-24 | 25-29 | 30-34 | 35-39 | 40-44 | 45-49 | 50-54 55-59 | 60-64 | 65-69 | 70-74 | 75-79 | 80+ AWARDS - Trophies will be presented to: * Overall top three men * Overall top three women * Overall wheelchair participant * Youth division 9 & under (top three girls, top three boys) * Youth division 10-13 (top three girls, top three boys) * Youth division 14-18 (top three girls, top three boys) PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE RACE FOR MORE INFORMATION GO TO: www.TampaAirport.com/5K
