About this race
For runners, walkers, amblers, friends, and family of all ages who want to beat their time, socialize, exercise, or just plain ole have fun! This race can be whatever you are looking for and also helps support a great program.
This 5K race helps to raise funds and promote a Christian youth organization (TRAIL LIFE USA, TROOP-0316). There will be a smores station, water stations, and promotional booths for all ages after the race. Registration and T-Shirt pickup begins at 6:30 A.M. and the race begins at 8:00 A.M., November 14, 2026, at Lincoln Parish Park in Ruston, LA. It will begin at a pavillion on the North side of the Hoogland Lake inside the park.

Strollers and wagons are allowed. This is a family event for children, but also an event for the racing community to acquire time and medals. There will be smore's ingredients for participants after the race and water stations set up along route and at the end.
