K2N Community Development Rider
Community Development Riders cycle in support of Red Knot Development's agriculture, sports development, and wildlife conservation programs. 100% of profits from these registrations go directly to community development work. Community Development Riders will also receive unique swag to show our appreciation for your commitment to assisting our friends in Tanzania. A team may consist of one standard entry and one Community Development entry. Both riders need not purchase Community Development entries. Community development riders do have choice of solo or shared accommodation. Price is per cyclist, all-inclusive.
Running
Spectator: Accompanying Cyclist
A spectator may accompany any cyclist who has registered for solo accommodation, and will share his/her tent for the duration of the event. Spectators will be on all-inclusive status, and will enjoy access to all national parks and wildlife management areas, including Kilimanjaro National Park, if they so desire. Spectators will be transported between camps in a race vehicle, and have options of a variety of activities and cultural experiences along the way.
Spectator: Simba Farm Lodge
Our Simba Farm package allows spectators to relax at a combination of Simba Farm and Mount Meru Game Lodges. Once the racers leave Simba (30th May), spectators will stay behind and enjoy delicious food, spa days and various cultural and/or farm activities of their choosing until the end of the race. Simba Farm package spectators will meet their racers again at the post-race party on 2nd June, and to enjoy their last night at K2N together at the lodge. The first three nights accommodation will be shared tent camping with racer partners at Simba Farm; private farm rooms will be available for the next three nights at the two official spectator hotels, on a first purchased, first served basis. The Simba Farm Package is all-inclusive of accommodation, meals, beverages (incl beer and wine), and daily activities.
