Event Schedule: Friday June 9 - 3-6pm Packet Pickup and Late Registration (if event not full) 5:30-6pm Pre-race Meeting Saturday June 10 - Race Day: 7:00 - Check-in and Transition Area open 8:15 - Transition Area closes 8:30 - 1st wave start - Ages 13-15 8:40 - 2nd wave start - Ages 11-12 8:50 - 3rd wave start - Ages 9-10 9:00 - 4th wave start - Ages 7-8 9:10 - 5th wave start - Ages 5-6 10:00 - Estimate all racers off course Family Fun Day, Prizes & Pool Party Begin! * Start times are approximate and may be adjusted on race day. Please plan to arrive between 7:00am and 7:45 (at the latest) so you can park, set up your bike area, and relax before the race start. Family Fun Day Celebration The race will be followed by lots of Fun: Food, Prizes, Meet the Mermaid, Fire Truck, Pool Party, Games and Interactive Demos from our Vendors, Pet Adoption, Music, Awards, and more! This is a Rain or Shine Event! Free Training Clinics All registered Tri for Fun participants may attend optional training clinics. Clinics are led by Certified Swim Coaches. Participants will learn water safety, swim techniques, pacing, transitioning (swim/bike/run), and race day strategies. Sports Center of Morehead and Carteret Sports Leadership are partnering with our Community Sponsors to present this fun 1st Annual Junior Triathlon to help fund P.E.
