Tri-Kids-Try Youth Triathlon – July 17-18

Nobody is too small to accomplish something BIG! Get ready to swim, bike, and run your way to celebration in a triathlon designed specifically for young athletes – Tri-Kids-Try Youth Triathlon, powered by Great Lakes Bay Orthodontics. Kids will build confidence and have fun in this youth triathlon as they swim, bike and run their way around and through Plymouth Park to reach the finish. Along the way, our race volunteers are there to help racers and cheer them on to the finish line where they will receive their TKT Finishers Medal!

Not sure about tackling a youth triathlon? No worries! Join us for a fun training experience at the Kids Triathlon Camp; July 13-17. Morning and afternoon sessions are available based on age. A week of camp costs $175. Register for the Camp-Tri combo with one click/one price, $205 and save a few bucks!

AGE GROUPS 
Ages 6-11 | 25-meter swim | 1.75 miles (1 lap) bike | .5 mile run = 1 lap
Ages 12-15 | 50-meter swim | 1 length of the pool | 3.5 miles (2 laps) bike | .5 mile run = 1 lap 

OPEN DIVISION
Ages 9-11 | 100-meter swim | 2 lengths of the pool | 3.5 miles (2 laps) bike | 1 mile run = 2 laps
Ages 12-15 | 200-meter swim | 4 lengths of the pool | 5.25 miles (3 laps) bike | 1.5 mile run = 3 laps

Have a young one (Ages 3- 5) looking to participate? Try out our Friday night MINI TKT, powered by JOLT Credit Union. 6PM START! ACTIVE KIDS, ages 3-5, will swim in the zero-depth end of the pool, bike down the parking lot (25 yds) and run behind the baseball diamond to the FINISH line to the North side of pool (under 1/4 mile). Along the way, our race volunteers are there to help and cheer racers on to the finish line. This is our introduction to the sport of triathlons for our MINI's! Shirt included and Participant Award included. Limited to first 98 registered. 

Packet Pick-Up/Last Day of Registration 5-7PM - Friday, July 17. Packet Pick up resumes Saturday morning, July 18 from 7AM – 7:45AM (NO NEW REGISTRATIONS TAKEN RACE MORNING) at Plymouth Park Pool. *Transition Area CLOSES PROMPTLY at 7:50AM.  Race Waves Start at 8:15AM. Race held rain or shine!  

Register early for lowest rate! Increases occur on April 16, July 1 and July 12 and packet pick up. Fees are Non-Refundable / Non-Transferrable.
