5K Walk/Run
Register as a runner or a walker. An award ceremony will take place at the park immediately following the race. Packet Pick Up: All race participants must pick up their race packets. The packet will include the race bib. A timing chip will be attached to the race bib for timed race participants only. Packet pick up is available Friday, May 12th from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. (prior to Shabbat Services) at Temple Sinai and on race day at Rock Creek Park from 7:00 a.m.-7:30 a.m. You will not be guaranteed a T-shirt if you have registered after May 1st. Race Details: The race begins at Rock Creek Park Grove 24. Please arrive by 7:30 AM for an 8 AM race start, rain or shine! There will be warm-up exercises before the race. Strollers and dogs are welcome, but please stay toward the back of the pack while lining up. For safety reasons, dog leashes must be shorter than 3’ and no extendible/flexible leashes are permitted. There will be one water station at the Start/Finish line and another along the route. You do not have to register your dog, but dogs that are registered will receive a race bib and will be eligible for "The Fastest Dog and Owner Pair" award After the Race: An award ceremony will take place at the park at about 9:30 am. Fastest participants in different age categories will win gift cards from our business sponsors. Race Parking: Ample parking is available at the Carter Barron Parking lot. Please use Colorado Ave (from 16th Street) to park at Grove 24 in the Carter Barron Parking lot near the entrance to the Tennis Center. If you are using a GPS, use the Tennis Center’s address: 4850 Colorado Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20011. Pricing: • Individual Runner/Walker: $36 (Price increases to $40 after May 7th) • Runner/Walker Under Age 13: $18 (Price increases to $20 after May 7th) Children under 13 are welcome to choose either the 1 Mile Fun Run or the 5K but they must specify which they will be participating in during registration.

Fun Run
The Fun Run will begin after the 5K race, approximately at 8:30 am. Fun Run participants are not timed. An award ceremony will take place at the park immediately following the race and there will be warm-up exercises before the race.. 5K for Your Dog
You do not have to register your dog, but dogs that have been registered will receive a race bib and will be eligible for "The Fastest Dog and Owner Pair" award if his owner has also registered for the race. For safety reasons, dogs must be leashed at all times, leashes must be shorter than 3’ and no extendible/flexible leashes are permitted. Please "add a registrant" and enter your dog's name, so the dog will be registered for this even and will receive a separate bib # from you. An award ceremony will take place at the park immediately following the race. Packet Pick Up: All race participants must pick up their race packets. The packet will include the race bib. A timing chip will be attached to the race bib for timed race participants only.
