The Trinity Youth and Family Triathlon is more than a multisport race—it is a fun-filled opportunity for kids, families, and friends to swim, bike, run, and support an incredible cause!
Every registration and donation helps support Colin’s Hope and its mission to provide water-safety education and prevent childhood drowning. You do not have to be an experienced triathlete to participate—just come ready to have fun, challenge yourself, and make a difference.
So gather your family and friends, sign up, and “Try a Tri” for fun while supporting Colin’s Hope. Together, we can help keep children safer around water!

Event(s) Description
ELEMENTARY AND JUNIOR HIGH: Young athletes can swim, bike, and run on age-appropriate courses designed to provide a fun, safe, and encouraging race experience. Whether this is your child's first triathlon or they are an experienced youth athlete, all ability levels are welcome.
HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES: This wave welcomes older youth athletes who want to experience the sport of triathlon in a supportive and family-friendly environment.
FAMILIES AND FRIENDS: Our Family and Friends wave is a recreational event for participants who want to experience a triathlon alongside a family member or friend, regardless of age, gender, or experience level. It is a great opportunity to "Try a Tri" together!
SPLASH AND DASH: We also have Splash and Dash events designed for ages 7-17! Participants will enjoy swimming and running activities in a fun, active environment.
The Trinity Youth and Family Triathlon is a USA Triathlon-sanctioned event benefiting Colin's Hope, a nonprofit organization dedicated to water-safety education and drowning prevention.

Open to ages 7–17 years

Youth Splash & Dash
Open to ages 7–15 years

- Youth Sr Age 11-15: 100Y Pool Swim + 2K run
Family Tri/Try a Tri and Family Relay
Open to all ages! This special recreational wave is open to anyone who wants to race with a family member or friend, regardless of age or gender.

Family and Friends /Try a Tri Triathlon
A recreational wave open to anyone who wants to race with a family member or friend, regardless of age or gender! This pair can be an adult & child; child & child or adult & adult. There are many options; mother/son, father/daughter, aunt/niece, mom and dad, mom and uncle. Each person must sign up for the event. 100M POOL Swim + 4mi Bike + 2K Run
Family and Friends Relay Triathlon (All Ages!)
Teams of two or three athletes compete, with each member completing a different leg (swim, bike, or run) of the triathlon, and then passing on a timing chip (or "baton") to the next teammate. 50M Swim, 2 Mile Bike, 1k Run
