Tulip Trot 5k

Calling all walkers, runners, and skippers! Join the Mecklenburg community parks' 3rd annual 5k event and be part of something good! . The course is the same as the last two years, it will feature one steep incline. Your participation will play a vital role in enhancing the park's beauty and fostering  community spirit.  To keep you motivated the parks most enthusiastic supporters will be stationed along the route to cheer you on and keep you on course. A kids' fun run is also offered. 

We have added another route option! A gentler 1.16 mile route that will visit the park itself with a half loop around the pond then down to the creeks edge via the nature trail! You can take your time! You might even get the chance to see the resident bald eagle or blue heron!

Entry Fee: $25 per participant. Every participant will get a packet of wildflower seeds for signing up!
Group discounts for registration group of 4 -7 people reduces registration fee by $2.50 per person 
Group discounts for registration group of 8 of more people reduces registration fee by $5 per person

There will be a free Dino Dash for the kids that starts at 9:30AM, and the main race begins at 10 AM.
