The Turkey Day Trot: Stride for Peace is an untimed, family-friendly event featuring a 5K Stride for Peace and a Family 1-Miler along the beautiful Santa Monica shoreline.

Walk, stroll, or stride—there’s no rush, just fresh ocean air, good company, and a spirit of togetherness.

Begins and ends at Crescent Bay Park
Follows the Santa Monica Beach Path with ocean views
Water stop at North Beach Playground
Clearly marked turnaround points
Returns to the park for celebration and photos

Their programs provide hands-on job training, mentorship, and community support — helping participants build confidence, develop skills, and achieve long-term stability.

During registration, you’ll have the opportunity to donate directly to Merge Opportunities, ensuring every stride helps create meaningful opportunities and stronger communities for all.
