About this race
The Mountain Goat Run is a 10 Mile Syracuse tradition, open to participants of all ages. We have been conquering the hills of Syracuse for 47 years - bringing our community together each year.
Race Day Schedule: Sunday, May 3, 2026
8:50 a.m.: Kid's Half Mile Timed Fun Run,
9:15 a.m.: 10 Mile Mountain Goat Run, Two-Person Relay
9:20 a.m.: Family Pet Walk
10:00 a.m.: Post Race Party
11 am: Awards presentation of top 3 male and female runners.
For alcohol consumption, please bring picture license identification for age validation.
Packet Pick Up and In-Person Registration (ON-LINE only! No paper or cash accepted) will be held at Fleet Feet Sports, 5800 Bridge Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057 on Saturday, May 2: 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Race Day Packet Pick Up & Registration (ON-LINE only, CREDIT CARD only), 7 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. in Clinton Square.
ALL premium items will be available ONLY through Race Day; NO EXCEPTIONS.
ALL awards MUST be picked up on Race Day ONLY at Awards Tent (no awards available AFTER 1pm).
Time Bonus Ribbons for the 10-mile race awarded to women running sub-90, sub-80, or sub-70 minutes and to men running sub-80, sub-70 and sub-60 minutes.

SuperGoat/NannyGoat
8am meet up at The MOST For SuperGoat Status you will need to run to all 4 parks: MOST -> Woodland Reservoir -> MOST -> Lincoln Park -> MOST -> Burnet Park -> MOST -> Thorden Park -> MOST! For the NannyGoat Status you will only need to run: MOST -> Woodland Reservoir -> MOST -> Lincoln Park -> MOST Usually the first Sunday in April!
Hall of Fame Mile

Two Person Relay
Each runner must register and pay the registration fee. Each relay runner will receive full premium swag, finisher medal, all on course support including bus ride to/from relay exchange, and the post-race refreshments and party.

Can't be at Race Day? Take part in the epic 10 Mile Mountain Goat Run and receive your official Mountain Goat swag including our custom medal. Proudly brag about your swag! All items will be shipped.
Goat 4 Life
Purchase a Goat for Life pass and you can run the race for free, forever! Membership in this exclusive club includes: A Mountain Goat Hall of Fame brick paver with your choice of inscription. Personalized bib and # An exclusive “Goat for Life” shirt. Your name announced as a Goat for Life at the starting and finishing line every year. Entrance into the Mountain Goat Run forever – this includes the 10-mile run or the two-person, five-mile relay. Syracuse bragging rights.
