About this race

Join VFW Post 6249 Suffolk County World War II and Military History Museum's "Rails to Trail" 5K Race on Sunday, October 11th, at 9 AM.  

It is open to all runners and walkers who will enjoy the ease, speed, of this mostly flat course that will start near the patriotism of this military history museum.  

This is the ultimate warm-up for the "Turkey-Trot" races that will be a great Sunday morning race towards the importance of supporting the memory of American Armed Forces members.

 

Registration:
Located at Rocky Point VFW Post 6249

Registration opens at 7:30am
Race starts at 9:00am
 
Amenities:
5K: Age Group Medals & refreshments afterwards!
T-shirts will be guaranteed to the first 300 registrants!
 
Fees: 
          $30 pre-registration (by 10/10 at 6pm)
          $35 day-of 


Course:  Starts at Rocky Point VFW Post 6249 and continues along the Rails to Trails path.
