Violence Free Community Run
About the Event
~ RUN ~ WALK ~ JOIN THE FUN ~
The event consists of two certified races: a 5K and 10 K course on a multi-looped, paved road winding through the streets downtown Kenai. Courses are wheelchair accessible.
START and Finish Line:
Located at the Kenai Park Strip on Main Street Loop (across from First National Bank Alaska)
RACE DAY DETAILS:
- Parking is at the Old Carrs Mall. There is no parking on the street.
- Check- in from 8:00 am - 9:30 am on race day at the Park Strip.
- Group Stretch and Warm-Up will be held at the park at 9:45 am.

This year’s 37th race is scheduled for August 8, 2026 and includes both certified 5K and 10K races. It’s a fun, healthy community event that highlights resources available through our agency and focuses attention on our mission to promote healthy families and a violence-free community. Bibs can be picked up the day before or the morning of. Your registration fee covers your swag bag and tee shirt. Any money raised, beyond the cost of hosting the Run, will go directly to client services. We look forward to sharing this event with you. Registration is open to all.
